Our vision is to provide quality education to the students of this rural region and to equip them to participate in nation- building activity by promoting their individual and social growth. In order to achieve long term goals our mission is to provide opportunities to the students throughout the year through well organized program so that the students can realize their true potential.

• NCC and NSS units of the college inculcate the spirit of nationalism patriotism and social service among the students and prepare them to serve the nation and society at large.
• Our mission is to sensitize the students to work gender social and environmental issues so that they may become responsible citizens of the nation.

Institutional Development Plan for the Session 2023-24

1. Main Gate: For the safety of the students and to protect the trees and plants of the college, the main gate of the college will be constructed in this session.

2. CCTVs : To ensure the security of the college campus and the safety of students, CCTV cameras will be installed.

3. Herbal Garden: Growing herbs can be fun and educational experience for the students. It can teach them about the different types of herbs and their medicinal properties. Other than its campus beautification value it also has environmental and health benefits.

4. ICT Facilities::

1. The College also has ICT enabled virtual classroom/ conference room for Smart Classroom Teaching.
2. To Make Office work more convenient and faster computers with printers will be purchased for the use of office staff.

5. Digital Display: These boards will give increased visibility and engagement. These will be used to deliver important information to the students regarding various activities and notices of the college.

6. Library Enhancement: To enhance intellectual level and reading habits of the students approximately 1000 new books will be purchased in the next session.

7. Skill Development Programme: To increase basic computer skills of the students Dr. Sunita Sharma will take extra class of interested students.

Action Taken for the IDP 2023-24

1. Main Gate: For the safety of the students and to protect the trees and plants of the college and to prevent the entry of outsiders in the college the main gate of the college has been constructed in this session.

2. CCTVs : To secure the campus and to make it safe for the students cameras were installed to keep round the clock vigilance at different important locations.

3. Herbal Garden: Plantation drives and herbal garden cultivation were held by Eco Club, NSS, NCC to make the College campus green.

4. ICT Facilities :

1. The College also has ICT enabled virtual classroom/ conference room for Smart Classroom Teaching.
2. To Make Office work more convenient and faster five computers with printers have been purchased for the use of office staff.

5. Library Enhancement: 1000 more new books have been added to the college library donated by the State Library at Shimla, this year.

6. Skill Development Programme: To increase basic computer skills of the students Dr. Sunita Sharma has taken extra class of interested students.
